‘Salem’ Season 4 News: Is It Really Cancelled? Creator Brannon Braga Tweeted Series ‘MIGHT Keep Going’

"Salem" season 4 is no longer happening, unfortunately. WGN America has announced that the current third season of the witch series featuring Janet Montgomery (as Mary Sibley), Shane West (as John Alden), Seth Gabel (as Cotton Mather) and Ashley Madekwe (as Tituba) will be the conclusion of the show. However, Series creator Brannon Braga teased that the series "MIGHT keep going." Is season 4 really cancelled?

Series creators Brannon Braga and Adam Simon have expressed their gratitude to WGN America and Fox21 for their amazing partnerships, allowing them to create a satisfying finale for the series. In return, Matt Cherniss, president and general manager of WGN America and Tribune Studios, also expressed their gratitude to the series creators of "Salem," commending them for their incredible vision for the world of Salem. The WGN president also thanked the loyal fans of "Salem" for their endearing support.

Matt Cherniss further mentioned that "Salem" is one of their milestones. The president revealed that "Salem" is one outstanding show which has extremely contribute to the network's successful launch into original programming.

The creators also told Deadline that they have already known the fate of the series so they have put all efforts to create a hype to Mary's transformational saga in season 3. Braga and Simon also mentioned that they consider their work at "Salem" as a magical experience. The creators also extended their gratitude to all the working staff, actors, producer, writer, director, and crews of the show.

Producer Josh Barry also took to his Twitter account an appreciation tweet for his "Salem" family. Josh Barry commended his "Salem" family to be the best team indeed.

Brannon Braga even took to his Twitter account a message to pacify the fans. Braga said that the last episodes of "Salem" are deemed to be a "KILLER" in bold letters.

Intriguingly, Braga also teased by writing in bold letters the word "MIGHT" which suggests there is a slight chance that the series can possibly keep going.
