Fans of "Sleepy Hollow" have witnessed the significant changes that the series has undergone. As the show moves forward for season 4, how will "Sleepy Hollow" progress after the demise of Abbie Mills (played by Nicole Beharie)? Fans will see "True Blood" star Janina Gavankar as Diana, the new buddy of Ichabod in fighting crimes. It has been reported that Janina Gavankar has signed on to join the cast in season 4 of "Sleepy Hollow." Diana will also be seen with a daughter, which will be played by "Masterchef Junior" contestant Oona Yaffe. Also, Jerry MacKinnon and Rachel Melvin have been reported to join the roster of the cast as well.

Another change that fans will see in the upcoming season 4 of "Sleepy Hollow" will be the new shooting location. The new episodes will now be shot in Washington D.C., not in New York anymore.

Moreover, fans will see the lead character Ichabod Crane sporting a new look. According to a report by Cinema Blend, fans will see Tom Mison with a new haircut in season 4.

Meanwhile, new cast Janina Gavankar spoke with TVLine regarding her feelings in taking the spot of Abbie Miller. The actress acknowledged the fact that the fans of "Sleepy Hollow" will surely miss Abbie. She also admitted that she is extremely nervous that "people are going to hate" her for taking Abbie's role. However, she also expressed how honored she is to be chosen to fill in for Abbie.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 is set to return on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
