Second-graders hilariously try to behave after their teacher dropped out of their Zoom call. Even though one of them reminded them that the call is being recorded, the little tykes still could not help but talk about "toast" after the teacher has left the meeting.

The Parkland Elementary teacher lost her internet connection during an online Zoom learning leaving her students in a class. Students learned that their teacher has left the meeting and tried to behave because they knew the meeting was being recorded. They ended up talking about toast as they keep the ball rolling.

The teacher lost internet connection during Zoom class

One girl started noticing that their teacher lost connection after she got cut off from her lecture. The girl asked what happened, which has triggered all the other students to take note of their missing teacher.

Her classmate noted that their teacher had left the meeting and others followed through. Others let loose: one sneezes in front of her camera, while another sang to the beat of a song.

The Zoom call was being recorded

Meanwhile, a student wearing a yellow shirt that seemed to be a class representative called everyone's attention because she noticed that their call is being recorded. She noted "a little record sign" she found at the top of the screen.

She told her classmates that their teacher could watch them and see that they are not behaving while she is out. Other students answered back, saying that they are aware their call is being recorded.

The student in the yellow shirt also said that the principal could also see their actions, then said, "that should be serious." Upon hearing that, one student said he would mute his mic because he does not want to talk.

They would be "toast"

The role-model student also noted that if the principal finds out that they were bad while the teacher is out, they would be in trouble with their parents. One of the students agreed and said that they are "toast."

Everyone else then said the same thing, while another tried to explain what it means to be "toasted." He said that being toasted means, they are in big trouble.

However, upon hearing the word "toast," one student claimed that she suddenly wanted some toast. The student in the yellow shirt wanted to protect the others by advising the person who brought the "toast" topic to have some for breakfast tomorrow.

What she said has triggered everyone else's gastric juices. One of her classmates then exclaimed that having toast and eggs would be good when eaten together with lettuce. Another one agrees while another one did not like eggs with his toast.

Netizens could not help but comment about how funny the students were after the teacher had left them. They noted how wise the second-grade students are trying to behave while being recorded in front of the camera.
