Celebrity mom Ashley Graham looks back to her first year of motherhood. That is while the American model also celebrates the first birthday of her son.

On Instagram, Graham shared a birthday greeting for her son, Isaac. She also uploaded a video on YouTube about the lessons she learned in her first year of motherhood.

On her Instagram account, celebrity mom Ashley Graham shared a short clip about how her previous year was.

The video was captioned with a birthday greeting for her firstborn, Isaac. She said in the Instagram post, "You have changed my life and my heart in ways I couldn't imagine."

Although the American model admits that her life changed, she also shared that she can no longer imagine life without her little man. She said, "Watching you grow and learn has been the greatest gift."

The YouTube video

The YouTube video that Graham uploaded was the complete version of what she shared on Instagram. In here, she shared in detail her first year of motherhood.

Celebrity mom Ashley Graham began her video with some clips of giving birth to Isaac in January 2020.

For each month, Graham shared the lessons that she learned; thus completing the "12 things I learned in the first 12 months."

One of the things the American model said she learned was about love. She said, "I learned to love in a way that I never knew I could love."

Just like any mom, Ashley's first year of motherhood was sleep-deprived. She shared how she was able to survive with lesser time for sleep — something which she never thought she could do.

Being a mom during the pandemic

Because Graham's first year of motherhood was during a pandemic, it was extra challenging for the celebrity mom. That is why this made her admire all other moms who went through what she did, "Sending love to everyone going through any stage of their motherhood journey during a pandemic."

The pandemic also taught the celebrity mom a lot of things, including moving forward. She said in her YouTube video, "No matter what's going on, I learned that you just keep moving forward."

In the video, Graham also said that she dedicates the video to all moms, new moms, and expecting moms. She said, "The challenges may come and go, but the blessings are just so much bigger."

Celebrating son's first birthday

Ashley posted the video last January 18, during her son's first birthday.

Graham says that the journey was beautiful, especially because she got to see the world in her son's eyes. She said, "You amaze me every single day. Happy birthday Isaac, I love you so much."

Isaac is the firstborn of Ashley Graham and Justin Ervin.
