Liz And Tom Will Split In 'The Blacklist' Season 4

There are rumors that the newly parents, Liz and Tom will struggle with their relationship in "The Blacklist" Season 4. The last season of "The Blacklist" was a cliffhanger after Alexander Kirk abducted Liz. Tom and their baby were nowhere to be found in the last scenes of the finale.

Per Ecumenical News, Liz and Tom will struggle with their relationship and will eventually break up. There are rumors that this is due to the "The Blacklist" spinoff titled, "The Blacklist: Redemption "where Eggold is set to take the lead.

According to John Eisendrath, there is true love in Liz and Tom. However, their relationship is doomed, they have every reason to fall apart, suggesting that Liz and Tom's relationship might not work out.

"We hope that whatever the outcome, spin-off or no spin-off, that we will be able to tell stories where they are struggling in a way that the audience can relate to with obligations of parenting and desires to find out truths about themselves that might pull them apart from each other," he told Entertainment Weekly.

Red Is Liz's Real Father

Meanwhile, Parent Herald reported that Red (James Spader) is Liz's biological father. The theory springs from a Reddit user who speculated that Liz's true parents are Red and Katarina Rostova. The two were initially working on the different side of the law but eventually fell in love.

The KGB tried to kill both in separate instances, Rostova went missing after the attack while Red got burned after saving Liz. According to the theory, Rostova is still alive but Red doesn't want to tell her daughter that her mom just disappeared.
