NBA Trade Rumors: Miami Heat Really Wants To Let Go Of Chris Bosh, Will New York Knicks Or Chicago Bulls Take Him?

After reports have surfaced claiming that Miami Heat is planning to use the wave provision on Chris Bosh, he has now become the center of trade rumors. Accordingly, Miami Heat is looking to let go of him and trade him to the New York Knicks or Chicago Bulls.

The reports about Bosh being traded comes after Dwayne Wade and Rajon Rondo were signed with Chicago Bulls to join star player Jimmy Butler. Wade and Rondo were signed after Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol also left Chicago Bulls. Chicago Bulls' Wade is reportedly planning to recruit his former teammate, Bosh.

Another reason why Bosh is being reportedly traded is because of his health. Gospel Herald reported that Ira Winderman, a reporter for the Sun Sentinel and Miami Heat, said that if only Bosh was as productive and on the top of his game and did not have blood clots, he might not be on the trading block. Winderman pointed out that Bosh is respected when at the top of his game but with his current health status, him staying with Miami Heat might no longer be an option.

The health issues of Bosh have been hindering him from playing for many seasons now. No one has been assuring the fans that Bosh will be seen at the court this 2016-2017 NBA season so trading him might be a struggle since there are no certainties yet.

As for joining the New York Knicks, Inquisitr reported that team president Phil Jackson has set his eye on the 32-year-old Bosh. However, he reportedly wants Bosh to get past all the health problems.

Bosh was first diagnosed with blood clots after the 2016 NBA All-Star game. The blood clots were initially in the calf of Bosh but have moved to one of his lungs. He then missed the last two NBA seasons.

Bosh reportedly wanted to play but Miami Heat did not want to risk anything since he was undergoing medical treatment that included blood thinners.

Bosh is yet to comment on the trade rumors and give an update about his health.
