‘General Hospital’ Cast & Spoilers: Richard Burgi, Brian Craig Leave GH As Serial Killer Arc Draws To A Close

The serial killer storyline in "General Hospital" is finally drawing to a close, but not without bringing characters out with it. Richard Burgi is said to be leaving the daytime soap as his character, Paul Hornsby, gets caught as the serial killer. Brian Craig is also exiting from the soap following the death of his character, Morgan Corinthos.

GH's "The Hospital Killer" has finally been revealed to the people of Port Charles, much to the surprise of people around him. Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Dillon (Robert Watkins) were particularly shocked over the revelation and couldn't believe they were around the killer all this time. As Paul is put behind bars, Richard Burgi has left the role in "General Hospital," as reported by Soaps.com.

Meanwhile, "General Hospital" is also saying goodbye to Morgan Corinthos as Brian Craig exits the show. Spoilers via the Celebrity Dirty Laundry dished that Morgan will be killed in an explosion that was meant for Julian Jerome (William deVry). Morgan stole Julian's car after an assault to TJ Ashford (Tequan Richmond). Dante will blame Sonny once he finds out it was Julian's car. Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) will go the site, but Morgan would be nowhere to be found and is presumed dead.

Brian Craig confirmed his exit from "General Hospital" last month. As Parent Herald learned, the actor decided not to renew his contract. While it has been said that Brian Craig will be last seen in GH in November, the actor said in his tweet that the car explosion is his explosive (quite literally) exit from the daytime soap.

With no body found on the scene and being part of important story arcs, there is a possibility that the character will be recast. In which case, who do you think should take over as Morgan Corinthos?

"General Hospital" airs from Monday to Friday at 2:30 p.m. on ABC.
