Nintendo’s Latest Game Updates: “Nintendo Switch” Trailer Reveals Exciting New Features Of The Console

As an end to a long wait, Nintendo has finally revealed its new video game console--"The Nintendo Switch." The new video game console looks very promising with its exquisite features. The Japanese game company has scheduled the release of the "Nintendo Switch" in March 2017.

The Nintendo Switch video game is a hybrid console that can be played at home on a living-room television or can be played on-the-go. According to reports by Business Insider, the Nintendo Switch has a gaggle of games starring its most prominent creations. It comes with a lot of interesting features. A tablet like a portable bit has to be dropped into the ''Nintendo Switch Dock" similar to a bread being dropped in a toaster. The dock must then be connected to the TV so that the user can play the same games at home and on-the-go.

A recently released trailer of the Nintendo Switch reveals that along with being portable, the Nintendo Switch uses cartridges similar to those used in 3DS handheld. Optical discs will not be used for this device. The screen of the device is around 7 inches and small controllers are present which can be snapped onto the sides of the Nintendo Switch's screen, making it portable. Each controller has a thumb stick and four main buttons that can be used with the screen or detached from it.

In an incredibly competitive console industry with players such as Microsoft's Xbox, Sony's PS4, PlayStation Vita, standing out as a unique product to the customers can be a daunting task for Nintendo. However, Nintendo Switch has already managed to gather the appreciation of Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox at Microsoft who said, "I'm always impressed with their ability to state a bold vision and build a product that delivers their vision," cited Forbes.

With the Nintendo Switch claiming to be as powerful as the traditional home console, will the wait for this handheld be worth it?
