Apple Wireless AirPods Shipment Delayed; Apple Still to Come up with New Launch Date While Fans Are Still Waiting

Apple wireless AirPods will not make it to the shipping date in late October and Apple has yet to come up with a new launch date.

The AirPods is Apple's new foray into wireless technology and it's specifically designed for iPhone. The company said on Wednesday that it's not yet applicable for mainstream use and the eager public might have to wait awhile after the hi-tech earbuds were first displayed last month.

The AirPods was rumored to get a launch date during Apple's MacBook event to be held in San Francisco. But the cancellation of the shipping date came one day before. A spokeswoman for Apple mentioned that the quick response to the AirPods was unbelievable.

She also revealed that Apple does not adhere to the premature shipping of a product, especially if it isn't ready. The company needs more time before the wireless AirPods will be available to their loyal customers.

Apple is obviously campaigning that the Apple wireless AirPods is what wireless earbuds would look like in the future. The new accessory looks like a standard yet sleek variation of the earbuds but it can connect to Apple products without the use of a cord.

This new Apple technology is priced at around $180 and it uses a built-in microphone for phone calls and Siri voice commands. It also has sensors that can detect if a person is wearing them.

Tech reviewers were provided by Apple with prototypes of the wireless AirPods so they can check its functionality with the iPhone7. Several of the reviewers have praised the new product but some of them found the design a little bit rough.

Talk show host Ed Baig mentioned that the wireless AirPods were very easy to charge and they sounded excellent. Apple fans are now wondering if the new launch date will coincide with the release of the updates for the MacBook, while the company is still maintaining its silence on the subject.
