Hollywood News: Miranda Kerr Reveals She Had A Very Bad Case Of Depression After Split With Ex-Husband Orlando Bloom

The mother-of-one model, Miranda Kerr, is now happily engaged to the founder and creator of Snapchat but three years ago, she said that she slipped into a bad case of depression after she and her then-husband, Orlando Bloom, called it quits. The two split back in 2013.

This is the first time that Miranda Kerr has opened up about what she really felt after her divorce from Orlando Bloom. The Australian model covered Elle Canada's December 2016 issue and she shared that she never understood the depth of the depression she had when she split with Orlando Bloom or the reality of what situation she was in because she was naturally a very happy person, E! News reported.

However, despite the bad depression she got into, she learned from it because she said that every thought a person has affects one's reality and one has control over his or her mind. This thinking helped her get through the divorce from Orlando Bloom.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr share a child together, Flynn Christopher Bloom, now 5. Miranda Kerr was able to learn more about co-parenting with Orlando Bloom as well as motherhood. Miranda Kerr shared of the co-parenting that the most important thing is that when her son has time with her, they spend quality time together and when Flynn is with his father, they also have quality time.

She noted that co-parenting with Orlando Bloom works out well because she books her photo shoots during the time that Flynn is with his father and the rest of the time that their son is with her, she gets to be a full-time mother.

More on being a strong person, Miranda Kerr said that people should be like willow trees because they are very flexible and are the strongest when there is a big storm. The model also said that all of the answers that one wants to find are inside of them. A person has to sit with his or herself, take a few breaths, and get close with their spirit, Us Weekly reported.

Miranda Kerr is now engaged to Evan Spiegel while Orlando Bloom is dating Katy Perry.
