NBA Trade Rumor Updates: Toronto Raptors Are Opting Trading Either Greg Monroe, Nerlens Noel, Zach Randolph

Trade rumors in Toronto Raptors have been swirling because they badly are in need of a "big man" to fill up the power forward position in preparation for the battle in the East. Their options now are cut to either Philadelphia 76ers's Nerlens Noel, Milwaukee Bucks' Greg Monroe, and Memphis Grizzlies' Zach Randolph.

Yabada reported that the Toronto Raptors are still expected to make through the playoff but doubts run over their supremacy in the East Conference. It all began when the Raptors lost their key players in the likes of Bismack Biyombo in free agency.

While Toronto did retain their star player DeMar DeRozan and was able to insert Jared Sullinger this summer, there is still a need for the Raptors to add one solid big man who can provide them strength in the frontcourt.

According to Arthur Hill of Hoops, Philadelphia 76ers's Nerlens Noel, Milwaukee Bucks' Greg Monroe, and Memphis Grizzlies' Zach Randolph are among the potential trade targets for the Toronto Raptors.

Arthur Hill wrote that Zach Randolph could be demoted to a reserve role in Memphis and he is headed towards a free agency. Greg Monroe in Milwaukee is an obvious target, while the Sixers' Nerlens Noel is also a good choice. But any of them would make the Raptors a bigger threat to Cleveland in the East.

Inquisitir reported that Milwaukee big man Greg Monroe is more aggressive and offensive than Noel. Monroe can also use his feet on the defensive and make the team security a little bit better. He would become a starter for the Raptors if they will trade for him.

As for Sixers' Nerlens Noel, he is a defensive specialist, one that is not often found in the NBA. The category which Noel immediately falls into is that of the elite defenders in the league. Noel belongs with the likes of Rudy Gobert and DeAndre Jordan who can change a game without having to score a basket. His uniqueness makes him stand out in the option.

However, if the Toronto Raptors are to trade for a starting frontcourt player, it will be more costly. Keep posted for more NBA trade rumors and who will be the final draft for the Raptors.
