Digital Spy points out that fans would recognize much of real life in "Black Mirror" Season 3 Episode 1 ("Nosedive). Particularly with the help of an app called RateMe, the "Black Mirror" episode could come closer to life.

The "Black Mirror" account on Twitter announced the RateMe app, which allows users to rate users and be rated by other users in the same way. The RateMe app uses a scale of 5 for rating users.

However, beyond RateMe, Digital Spy points out that "Black Mirror" Season 3 Episode 1 reflects a growing obsession with social standing via social media. By the same token social media standing opens or closes doors to opportunities and privileges similarly to "Nosedive."

While "Black Mirror" Season 3 has been getting raves about being on point as a commentary on the rise of modern reliance on technology, the move of the anthology series to Netflix also brought on noticeable changes. For one Prospect points out that "Black Mirror" may have lost some of the original flavor and feels more Hollywood.

Definitely "Black Mirror" Season 4 will continue to be bigger. As Parent Herald cites Charlie Brooker told Yahoo that Netflix gives "Black Mirror" a very ambitious platform.

"Black Mirror" Season 3 was released by Netflix on Oct 21. "Black Mirror" Season 4 release by Netflix will not be too long of a wait, although the final date is yet to be announced, as Charlie Brooker is already hard at work on the new episodes.
