Toddler Came Back To Life While Doctors Were Taking Off Life Support

A 3-year-old English boy proved people that miracles indeed happen through his immediate recovery from the dead. When doctors took off the life support, he reportedly rose from the dead, according to reports.

Dylan Askin had his lungs collapsed December last year. He was rushed to the hospital then. He was in and out of the emergency room since then. Doctors tried to figure out what was wrong but in the end, the toddler's organs started to fail as well, Channel 4 reported.

The little boy was still able to go to school, but in mid-February, he collapsed at his nursery school. He was kept in the intensive care unit for many weeks but later developed an infection.

Dylan's diagnosis was with a rare form of lung cancer that has caused cysts to appear on his lungs. He was under chemotherapy for several months.

The infection detected on March 18 has to lead to having his organs to fail. It was in April when the family said goodbye to him.

By the time the doctors were taking Dylan off life support, Dylan was gone away muscle sedatives, and his legs began to kick. It was a sign that the brain was still functioning. The doctors tried to increase the sedation and his oxygen levels finally improved to an average level.

Dylan's mother Kerry told reporters that she and husband already said Bryce [Dylan's brother] that Dylan was not coming back. Later, they also explained about the incident when Dylan came back to life, so Bryce said to them, 'Oh, so he's like Jesus then?'

"I said, 'You're not wrong,' He had just risen from the dead." Kerry shared to Telegraph as she talked to Bryce. The family was very thankful for the miracle that they have witnessed in the person of Dylan.

Dylan was discharged on April 4. His last chest drain was on April 20. Continual treatment is given to Dylan for the cysts on his lungs. His parents and two brothers are all expecting his full recovery before the 2016 ends.
