‘The Good Fight’ Cast Update: CBS Casts ‘The Hangover’ Veteran Justin Bartha For Which Role?

"The Good Fight" label lists another regular as CBS announced the addition of "The Hangover" veteran Justin Bartha in the show's list of mainstay actors. "The Good Wife" spin-off series kicks off on CBS come February before hitting its CBS All Access digital platform.

"The Good Fight" begins one year after the events of the conclusion of the previous "The Good Wife" according to Deadline. The series starts off with a nasty financial scam that has barred the reputation of a very young lawyer named Maia portrayed by actress Rose Leslie.

The very same scandal flushed out the entirety of Diane Lockhart's savings. Lockhart is Maia's mentor. After being thrown out of their former Lockhart and Lee law firm, the duo is forced to join Lucca Quinn played by actor Cush Jumbo in one of the many pre-eminent law firms of Chicago.

Meanwhile, Bartha, the iconic lead of "The Hangover" movie plays the role of Colin, the most promising star slash bachelor of Chicago's State Attorney's Office. Romantic sparks start to fire up when Lucca and Colin go against each other in the courtroom.

Former "The Good Wife" stars Zach Grenier, Sarah Steel and Jerry Adler resume their roles as Delroy Lindo, Erica Tazel, Bernadette Peters and Paul Guilfoyle join the crew, Variety noted.

"The Good Fight" executive producers Michelle and Robert King spills the criteria that lead to casting Bartha into the shoe's recent spin off. They say they were looking for an actor who can take a romantic lead role while playing along comic and sensual angles. More importantly, they were looking for an intelligent actor.

Justin Bartha starred as Doug Billings in all of the three "The Hangover" films. He shared the lead spotlight on Fox's "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life." And now, Justin Bartha wears a suit and picks up his case as he lawyers up for "The Good Fight". Do you think he is a good pick for the role?
