ATM Keypads Have Microbes That Arise From Food And Human Hands

A Recent study reveals that the source of the microbes found on ATM keypad traces to be human skin and food particles. ATM is the daily requirement of so many people. It is used on daily basis by almost everyone in the world to draw money by people. So it serves as a medium for spreading many harmful bacteria from one person to another, The Inquisitr says.

It is a well-established fact bacteria not only reside inside a human body but also on the surface of the skin. So when different people use the same ATM then the spread of potential bacteria from one person to ATM and then eventually to another person is evident and justified.Similar researches in this regard were made in the past too.

DNA sequence technology was used in the research process and it was found out that ATM machines, in fact, are populated by the bacteria through different people who use the machines and enter their credentials with their bare hands. Results were reported and reviewed by The Washington Times too.

So bacteria get enough space to transfer themselves from hands to ATM and then to another person.
Researchers found out that bacteria discovered on ATM machines had food related origin and source. The bacteria were found to be related to food according to the locations of ATMs.

In an Asian neighborhood of Chinatown, the source was bony fish, mollusks. The chicken was the source found out in most African-American neighborhoods. The study on this subject particular was intended to convey the hidden dangers that may result as a consequence of the spread of microbes through ATMs. It is now established that germs do get transferred through a single machine being employed by hundreds of people. Precautions can always be taken to avoid any harm in the future.
