'This Is Us' Spoilers & News: Jack Survives Beyond '90s! Best Show On TV Brings More Drama [PHOTOS]

Viewers already know that Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) died on "This Is Us," but the show hasn't touched on the when and how just yet. Recent pronouncements from the actor seems to suggest his character survives the '90s. So, did Jack live long enough to watch his three kids become young adults?

During his visit to Chelsea Handler's talk show, Milo Ventimiglia revealed that the timeline to his character's scenes are determined by Jack's mustache. According to Refinery 29, the actor talked about how different his mustache is from the early to the late '80s. He held back talking about the '90s though, perhaps to avoid revealing details that have yet to be unveiled on the show.

The official Instagram account also confirms that Jack is still in the '90s with the kids. It is speculated that Jack's death might have happened sometime around 2006 to 2016 based on what has been told in the episodes so far, TV Guide reports.

There has been a lot of fan theories as to what really happened to Jack. The show has also dropped hints about his death and the remarriage of his wife Rebecca (Mandy Moore) to his best friend Miguel (Jon Huertas).

But before viewers learn what really happened to Jack, "This Is Us" will follow up last Tuesday's Thanksgiving episode this week with the kids -- Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) & Randall (Sterling K. Brown) -- going away together, according to TV Fanatic. In "The Trip," Randall will also have his moment with his dead father in an effort to reconcile the betrayal he felt from his mother.

Meanwhile, "This Is Us" is being hailed as one of the current best shows on air. The Wrap enumerates all of the reasons, including a powerful pilot episode that set the show's tone, its right schedule in the Tuesday 9 p.m. block, and its casting.

"This Is Us" continues to trample other shows in the ratings and not even the holidays or sports events can slow down its rise in viewership. The NBC series already received a full season order for Season 1. A Season 2 follow up seems a no-brainer.
