Granny Takes In 3 Children Living In Squalor In Chicago

Recently, three children have been discovered to be living in an abandoned and distorted home in Chicago under unbelievably unhygenic conditions. Quite fortunately, those children are now in their grandmother's custody. The ages of the children were one, two and seven respectively.

According to abc7news, these kids were discovered by the police to have been living in a squalor.The condition of the place was quite upsetting. There was no electricity, heat or running water available there. These children have been living in this distress for quite a long time.

The kids were unable to take a shower and it had been months since they last took a shower. The oldest child had never gone to a school. Their grandmother told that she had to cut the nails, groom them and clean them. The children had been living in an unhygienic environment, they had sores and bruises on their foreheads.

The grandmother was thankful to the police to find her grandchildren and give their custody to her. The kids have been given a chance to lead a new life, a healthier and happier one.

Further, Herald also reports the incident and says that the kids under the supervision of their grandmother have been observed to show improvement and have gained some weight. The father of the kids had lied to her about the residence of kids. She was unaware of the distorted lifestyle of their grandchildren in a pathetic environment.

 But now things are different, kids have been taken in by their grandmother. The grandmother vows to raise the children right in the best of their interest, to educate them and help them find a job to live on their own. The Grandmother is grateful to the police and the father has been arrested for now.
