‘Sister Wives’ News & Updates: Kody Brown Says Mykelti Brown’s Short Engagement Is Stupid [Spoilers]

In a sneak preview of “Sister Wives” season 8, Kody Brown and his wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn discussed the short engagement of Mykelti Brown. It’s clear that the five of them unanimously agree that Mykelti Brown and Antonio Padron seems to be taking it fast.

Mykelti, 19 years old, and Antonio, 22 years old, made the Kody Brown and his wives happy during their engagement announcement. However, it’s clear the wives think, and even Kody, that they’re still too young to rush into marrying.

Kody Brown even said that it’s clear that the of them have the hots for each other because they’re young. However, the “Sister Wives” patriarch also added that physical attraction isn’t the only thing that can make a marriage last.

It’s clear that the sneak peek for the upcoming episode shows that the wives and Kody Brown were dismayed as Mykelti and Antonio even plans to get married August this year. It’s just two months after Maddie Brown’s wedding and Janelle Brown added that Maddie can feel “a little bit encroached,” People reports.

In comparison to Kody Brown’s engagement experiences, he said that his longest engagement was 10 months. He highlights that a couple must establish a relationship first to be in a relationship.

It can be recalled that Mykelti and Antonio has only been together as couples for 10 months before they got engaged. On a lighter news, the engagement ring of one of the “Sister Wives” daughter wasn’t a typical one.

The ring is a green amethyst with a yellow gold set. Mykelti added that she never really liked the typical diamond ring and his fiance knew that. Amethyst was also the favorite stone so Antonio really did pay attention to her, US Weekly reports.

Going back, will they be able to change Mykelti and Antonio’s mind and change their wedding date? Viewers will have to wait for the next episode of “Sister Wives” season 8 on Sunday in TLC.
