Writer Teases ‘Outlander’ Season 3 Finale Will Be "Super Exciting & Spine-tingling" And Will Also Make Fans Weep

Latest spoilers for "Outlander" season 3 have surfaced through the recent Q&A with writer Matthew B. Roberts. The writer spent his holiday break by giving the fans some holiday treats through his generous responses to the fans' questions. It seems that fans should really look forward to the upcoming season to fully understand how the finale will make them weep and why the writer described it as "super exciting and spine-tingling." Check out below some snippets of the Q&A.

The writer of the hit travel series "Outlander" initiated a Q&A on his official Twitter account and graciously responded several questions from the fans of the show. A fan named Alma Ortiz tried to fish out some episode spoilers by asking Roberts about which particular episode on season 3 was his favorite. The writer was witty enough to still conceal the episode details by responding that they have finished some "amazing" episodes and he also expressed that he is already excited for the fans to see these episodes.

With regard to the finale of season 3, the writer-fan G Whitman asked Roberts if the ending will make him leap for joy or cry. Roberts indirectly responded by saying the viewers will most likely have mixed emotions of happiness and sadness. However, Roberts' response mentioned the word "weep" in between synonyms of "laugh" which seems to suggest his emphasis on "weeping." The writer sounded like he was teasing that the finale of season 3 will more likely make the fans weep, than jump for joy.

Furthermore, Roberts dropped another description for the season 3 finale of "Outlander." When asked a similar question on the finale, the writer told Waverly Ford that they planned to finish season 3 with a "super exciting and spine-tingling" episode like never before. This portion of the Q&A hyped up the fans and earned heaps of comments from the fans of the series.

Meanwhile, the writer also teased about the fourth season. In one of his tweets, Roberts posted a status on how he was spending his holiday break. According to the writer, he was reading the "Drums of Autumn" that time as he prepares for "Outlander" season 4. In addition, he also mentioned that he was also writing the finale for season 3 with Toni Graphia that time.

"Outlander" season 3 has no official premiere date yet but is expected to return sometime in April.
