Microsoft Surface All-in-One PC Release Date, Updates: New PC Launched By Microsoft This October?

The public is in for a surprise as Microsoft has announced that they will hold an event on the 26th of this month in New York. Rumors are circulating that the event is meant to launch an all-in-one Surface PC.

While Microsoft has pointed out that the event will only cover the future of Windows 10, it is still being touted as the springboard for launching new products including the new PC. People are really expecting the company to reveal a bit about their new products especially the Surface PC that is rumored to rival Apple's iMac.

The much awaited Surface PC of Microsoft has been nicknamed as Cardinal, as reported in ZDNet. It is assumed to come in three variants. There would be a 21-inch variant as well as 24-inch and 27-inch variants.

People are also expecting Microsoft to incorporate Kaby Lake, Intel's latest processor, into their previous Surface devices. For this reason, it won't be so shocking if the all-in-one Surface PC also has Kaby Lake. Moreover, it is also expected to have Perceptive Pixel just like in Surface Hub.

All the buzz about the latest devices of Microsoft started when pictures of Surface-branded devices surfaced online, according to Express. Some people think that they are going to be shipped along with the Surface PC while others think that they are only peripherals for the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4.

There are also speculations that Surface phones will be released by Microsoft next year. Some people think that the company will show a glimpse of the phones on the company's October event.

Microsoft has not commented on the rumors circulating that they will give a sneak-peek on the all-in-one Surface PC on their October event. But if people are lucky, they might just get a glimpse of the new product.
