‘Pokemon Go’ FastPokeMap Update: Niantic’s New Security Measure Shuts Down FastPokeMap Again; FastPokeMap Developer Will Not Quit, Plans To Release Scanner Soon

"Pokemon Go" tracker FastPokeMap shut down once again after Niantic Labs released another security measure, blocking the operations of the third-party scanner. FastPokeMap developer announced that they must stop the service immediately to protect their accounts. Additionally, the developer also advised that he will terminate FastPokeMap if Niantic Labs deliver their own "Pokemon Go" tracker.

"Pokemon Go's" new security update deployed by Niantic Labs apparently bans FastPokeMap in accessing the game servers. Reportedly, the new security measure released by the "Pokemon Go" developer has a more aggressive Captcha system, making it difficult for FastPokeMap scanner to get through the servers. This resulted in the frequent banning of accounts using third-party scanners causing the FastPokeMap developer to immediately terminate its functions to prevent losing more accounts.

"Pokemon Go" developers seem to be serious in taking down third-party scanners, including FastPokeMap. The new FastPokeMap system just dropped online in less than a week but Niantic Labs had already acted to block FastPokeMap again. However, FastPokeMap developer announced they will come back in two to three days, confident that they will be able to crack the new Captcha security implemented by Niantic Labs, i4u reported.

That said, "Pokemon Go" trainers will once again be left with no tracker to help them hunt Pokemon. This time, however, it will take shorter waiting time as the FastPokeMap developer already knows the adjustments needed to make the "Pokemon Go" tracker work again. Additionally, it seems that FastPokeMap developer is determined to keep the third-party scanner working as he said that he will only stop the service until Niantic Labs offers a real "Pokemon Go" tracker.

"Pokemon Go" trainers, in the meantime, can utilize FastPokeMap alternatives while waiting for the developer to release the third-party scanner again. What can you say about Niantic Labs move to ban FastPokeMap again? Let us know your thoughts after checking out a video on how FastPokeMap works below.
