Dad Commits Suicide With Two Sons By Jumping off The Bridge; Father Died But Children Miraculously Lived

A father of two toddler boys decided to commit suicide from a bridge in New Jersey while carrying his children on October 24, Monday evening. His suicide attempt leads to his death, but both of his toddlers were reported to be alive.

In an article published by Mirror, the father, John Spincken, succumb to his suicide act after jumping over a bridge hitting the New Jersey Wanaque River. His sons, one who is 3 years old and the other, 1-year-old, both were found near his dead body, but have managed to have lived.

The police that night received a report of a suicide attempt, which is why they hurried into the area. Unfortunately, it was too late for them to save the 37-year-old father of two toddlers. Although the children are bound to be alive according to the doctors, both got some serious injury. One of the toddlers' lungs collapsed, while the other one has a damaged spinal cord. The Washington Post also reported this incident detailing that the children were confined at the St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center.

It was a bit odd that Spincken would just take his life like that because his Facebook posts didn't seem to appear like he is having problems in life. He was a business man who deals with cars and was even fond on the fact that he has two adorable children. He was proud to be a father according to his Facebook posts.

Names of the people involved in this incident were not given out by the police to protect their identities. There is still an on-going investigation into this story and police said they wouldn't stop until they get to the bottom of the issue.
