‘How To Get Away With Murder’ Season 3 Episode 9 Recap: How Major Death Changes Everything

"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 kicked off in late September this year with a huge announcement: someone will die. As anticipated, HTGAWM Season 3 Episode 9 entitled "Who's Dead?" finally revealed the identity of the burned body under the sheets.

Viewers are left in shock after Nate Lahey found a body under the sheets. Wes Gibbins is dead. Before the big reveal, the entire episode was dedicated to place puzzle pieces together.

Spoiler TV noted how the "HTGAWM" Season 3 Episode 9 resolved the conflict between Annalise, Bonnie and Frank that was left hanging in the previous episode. Despite Annalise's demand to pull the trigger, Frank who had a gun to his head was won over by Bonnie.

Meanwhile, an emotional Annalise visits her hair dresser. To comfort Annalise, the hairdresser played by Mary Blige, mentions a visit from A.D.A Atwood, the lawyer opposing Annalise in the recent Mahoney case. Furious after learning that she is being looked into, Annalise confronted the A.DA in her office. Cue in bitchy catfight.

On her way out, Annalise meets officer Lahey. The ex-lovers engage in an argument where Annalise accused Lahey of ratting her out. Lahey retaliates, denying the accusation before walking away.

Annalise drove home. While drinking vodka straight from the bottle, she burns case files and destroys her laptop with the famous trophy. Wasted, she goes to Bonnie's house and falls asleep. Bonnie shares a mysterious phone call with Frank.

As she wakes up, Annalise frantically called the Keating Five and Oliver, ordering them to her house. Cut to the scene where officer Lahey is seen entering the house. Meanwhile, after failing to convince Connor and Asher, tipsy Laurel makes her way to the house on her own. Wes who has been called to the D.A. office for the Mahoney case was also seen sneaking out.
