Apparently Everyone Was Wrong About Saturated Fats!

Saturated fatty acids have always been blamed for being the reason why your risk of getting diabetes and many heart diseases. Research has shown that carbs might be the actual reason behind all this.

The "controlled diet study" that was published in a journal called PLOS, also reported by Live Strong magazine, has challenged the theory saying that saturated fat contributes to having heart diseases. After that had been said; there's found an association between the saturated fat in the blood and the saturated fats in the heart diseases. For research and experimentation on this, the people who took part had been put on six three-week diets that had reduced the total and the saturated fat, while the carbs had increased. Because of this, the blood levels of fatty acids were also observed to be increasing.

This showed that the amount of carbohydrates that one consume is usually the one to determine if the fatty acids are burnt for fuels or are stored as fat or the way you progress it.

A recent study that had been in the journal "open heart" has proved that the research done told that the guidelines about original consumption of dietary that were created in 1977 and also 1933 are not supported.

So now it is time to stop thinking that dietary fiber is the enemy. You can not survive without these dietary fibers as these are the source of energy and also nutrients. Fats are not only beneficial but also tasteful. Proteins are extremely essential. Fats are more filling and satisfying than carbs. These fats also help in the moderation of sugars. As fats are more filling, therefore, they help to control your hunger and also help in the balance of diets.

Given below are some kinds of fats that should be consumed and the ones that you should be avoiding.

  • Unsaturated mono fats or MUFA's which are usually found in olive oil.
  • Fatty acids(Saturated) when the carbs are restricted, and these are consumed, fats are burnt.
  • Unsaturated Poly acids: that are usually liquids etc
