NBA Free Agency: Ray Allen To Complete The Cavaliers Roster; The New York Knicks Are Also In Pursuit of Ray Allen

Ray Allen is likely to become a part of the Cleveland Cavaliers this NBA season. The Cavaliers was reportedly eyeing Ray Allen a few months ago, and this could be the right time for him to sign with the Cavaliers.

According to the Ecumenical, Ray Allen could possibly land to the Cleveland Cavaliers. A possibility for Allen to play again with LeBron James is increasing as the Cavaliers are having a hard time re-signing J.R. Smith due to salary issues.

Ray Allen, one of the best 3-point shooter in the NBA history could still ring the bell. Allen said previously that he is still physically fit and ready to play again for another year. Even Coach Doc Rivers confirmed that Ray Allen would still be playing is more than ready to contribute to any team.

With LeBron James, Ray Allen would be very familiar how the Cavaliers' system work. Teaming up with the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love as well would provide the Cavaliers a deep shooting lineup.

As Ray Allen Turned 41 this year, he is still capable of doing such shooting that he used to. With the Cavalier's current roster, Ray Allen would likely be a catch-and-shoot player and doesn't need to bring the ball for a couple of seconds.

Ray Allen said previously, he will choose the team where his services are needed whether a contender or not. In a report held by the Morning Ledger, the New York Knicks are one of the suitors of Ray Allen as they are in search for a legitimate backup shooting guard for Courtney Lee.

The Cleveland Cavaliers could still sign Ray Allen for a veteran minimum, giving them an ease to their current salary cap. If acquired by the Cavaliers, Ray Allen would have the chance of winning another ring before he totally announces his retirement.
