Are You Cramming For Exams? Goodluck Scoring An A

Many students have read the textbook page again and again, and they may suspect this. But taking continuous stress during exams does not do any good. Usually, the facts and information are likely lost. Instead of taking the stress, one should start learning by doing practices, this way, as studies have proved, will make students learn even more.

According to different findings and reported by The Daily Mail as well, doing practices are much better than re-reading. Researchers had examined that under pressure students were able to learn only seven out of 30 words while those who learned by practice and by tests were able to learn eleven out of 30 words. Dr. Ayanna who is a psychology professor suggests that usually, the people who are under stress retrieve less information from their memories.

She also said that they had proved the best learning strategies and those who practice learning more and better even if they're under stress. Amy Smith who is had been graduated and was a psychology student has also suggested that it is not how long one studies, but they way one does that.

The research team did another experiment by asking the participants to memories thirty words and thirty images. These were shown on screens and notes were taken of what had been seen as reported by ABC.

Some continuously studied those notes while the other took practice tests, the stress had come after a 24-hour of a break when half students of each group were forced to solve some mathematics questions in front of some judges. The memories of these stressful students were examined, and those who did practice had shown little damage to their memories compared to those who had been re-reading. These activities show the right strategies of learning and how practice is vital and can make one perfect.
