‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered’ Updates: New Leaks Suggests That More Weapons & Maps Will Be Coming Soon

Raven Software has recently updated its game 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' with an addition of maps and mods. But it looks like the game will likely have another update coming soon as hackers have data-mined its 1.06 update.

A recent report by iDigitalTimes concludes that a new Reddit leak has been discovered and that a new update will be coming. A Variety Pack Map DLC is said to be found in the codes by hackers. These new maps included Chinatown, Broadcast, Killhouse and Creek.

The hacker has also discovered new weapons such as a hatchet, sword and sickle melee that weren't originally the 1.05 update. However, it is still unknown when these new updates will be available or whether it will be released at all. As iDigitalTimes said that the new leaks contradict the previous statements by Activision.

A previous update to 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' included new maps such as Bloc, Countdown, Showdown, Strike, Pipeline and Wet Work. It has added two new game modes which included Gun Game and Hardpoint for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The update also included supply drops. According to IGN, the drops offers new customized weapons, uniforms, emblems, new characters and more. For weapons, the update has added various knives, a hammer and a shovel.

'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' features high definition version of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare game. It is a first-person shooter game developed to add a new gaming experience for players with its next generation textures and overall better quality graphics. It is included in the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Legacy, Legacy Pro for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

It is still inconclusive whether the codes hacked by data-miners will be added as a new update as the developer have yet to confirm that a 1.06 is in the works. Fans may just have to wait a little bit longer.
